There is "A" list advertisement design that you just can't seem to take your eyes off. The design that if properly created can have a positive effect on you and may even influence you in some way. Good advertisement design creates a desire to consume the product being marketed.
There is also the advertisement that makes little or no sense at all. It does the complete opposite and draws you away from the product being advertised. In this ad Colgate is advertising their line of toothpaste. The only problem is the man in the image has no teeth. I'm guessing it was meant to be humorous, but I could personally say it has discouraged me to purchase their product.
